“The available technology is great, but in order to be effective, you must first understand the client’s specific needs.”

I came to Audicare Hearing Center from Alpena, MI. For 23 years I worked with clients of all ages in an Otolaryngology office.
I was very active in the Lions Club Hearing program, where I served as the committee chairperson for many years. I also worked on a steering committee to initiate the infant hearing screening program at Alpena Regional Medical Center. I’m proud to say that all hospitals in Michigan now screen newborns for hearing loss. I enjoy the challenges that various clients bring to our center. The advancements in hearing technology are wonderful, but mostly I love getting to know clients on a personal level and help them achieve success so that they can enjoy a full life without being hindered by a hearing loss.

A lifelong commitment to better hearing in Northern Michigan

I moved to Petoskey in 1990 and fell in love with Northern Michigan and the small town life. For twenty five years I worked closely with Petoskey Ear, Nose and Throat physicians and assisted them in the diagnosis of medically based hearing loss in both children and adults. I developed their program for hearing aid dispensing providing both sales and service to hearing aid users.

I joined Audicare Hearing Centers in January of 2012 to further my commitment to provide the highest quality service and hearing advice to adults seeking to overcome the effects of hearing loss in their lives. I am excited by the extraordinary technology we provide and the value we offer to all of our clients. My goal is to provide you with amazing service as we work together to improve your life with better hearing.

Participation in our Community as a Parent, a participant and a believer in all Northern Michigan has to offer each of us.

I was a Girl Scout leader for my oldest daughter for 12 years and many in the troop achieved the Gold Award, the highest award in Girl Scouts. Several co-leaders and I were awarded the Presidential Lifetime Volunteer Award. I provided hearing screenings at Senior Centers and hearing aid services to adults who participated in those meetings. I am an active volunteer at church today.
